Make A Donation

Family Fellowship is a tax-exempt charitable organization registered with the IRS. Any financial contribution you make to further the work is completely tax deductible. Some families are making annual donations of $500-1000 to help with the conference, with the family history project, or other Family Fellowship efforts.

Write Your Family Or Personal History

Family or personal histories are needed to help other families understand same-sex orientation and grow stronger through the experience. These personal stories can be beneficial for those who write them and for those who read them.

Order Educational Materials

Family Fellowship publishes materials and makes them available for you, your family, and those who most need to increase their understanding. This includes an expanding line of books, booklets, and audio tapes which may be helpful for many people you know.

Invite Folks In Your Area To Your Home

You can do a tremendous amount of good by inviting people into your home who are dealing with homosexuality or who are interested and concerned about the issue. Talking about sensitive subjects in a warm, comfortable, friendly atmosphere goes a long way toward helping ease tensions and increase understanding.

Help With A Local Support Group

Several organizations may be available in your are, such as Reconciliation, Affirmation, People Who Care, PFLAG, etc. It's easy to help out with support groups, and can be extremely rewarding. Phone numbers for these and other organizations are available. Family Fellowship does not have local chapters, but if you like, your name and phone number can be listed so folks in your area can call upon you for support.

Meet And Communicate Electronically

Family Fellowship has its own YahooGroup (email discussion group) to allow communication between families within the gay, lesbian and bisexual LDS community. You may sign up by following this link to the YahooGroup website.

(We do not believe in censorship and believe that the discussions on the YahooGroup should be a free exchange of honest opinions. We do, however, encourage civility. The opinions expressed on the group are solely those who have chosen to respond and do not necessarily reflect the goals and mission of Family Fellowship.)
